I didn't really participate in Halloween this year. It was on a Wednesday and we just had too much going on. I have to admit, I regretted that decision as soon as my instagram was blown up with the most adorable and unique costumes but hey- ya win some, ya lose some. I'll get em' next year.
What we did do, was go to Camp Ground Massacre with one of our favorite couples- Danielle and Joe! What is Camp Ground Massacre you may ask? Only the scariest freakin place on the planet!
It's a KOA campground that they turn into the most haunted attracted in the area. You go on a hay ride to this haunted trail/house area and then walk through all these houses/mazes/trails in the woods getting the ever living shit scared out of you until you just can't take it anymore, in which case they end the whole experience with a BOOM by having you locked in a room with a freakazoid with a chainsaw.
Why do we do this to ourselves?
We couldn't take pictures- but rest assured, some of those images are burned into my brain forever.
Let's be honest, I had my eyes closed 50% of the time and the only thing that got me through was the death grip I had on Andrew's hand. That and the couple of drinks I had prior to the trail at the local watering hole- which was a bar that was connected to a GAS STATION. Seriously people, I can't make this stuff up. We had gas station pizza, cheetos, and dollar drafts for dinner. We keeps it reeeealll classy, lemme tell ya.
An OOTD from church the next morning.
