Holden Beach was beyond perfect. Actually, I take that back.. it would have been perfect had we been able to stay there forever. The trip was WAY too short, but we had so much fun. It was so nice to get to spend time with my mom, sister, and
baby nieces. We played in the ocean, braided each others hair, ate too much, and watched 'My Girl' probably 6 times. It was so relaxing and I loved every minute of it.. even if I did gain 5 extra pounds and a sun burn!

One of our family friends, and my mama's best friend, Anita, and her two daughters Aubrey and Samantha, spent the weekend with us as well. We met every day on the beach and then at night for dinner and ice cream! They were a lot of fun and it was great to see them again. We definitely want to make an effort to spend more time with them, preferably at Holden Beach!

Well Folks, that was my weekend! I hope yours was as fun as mine was. Now, I'm back on the work grind, day dreaming about baking in the sun on Holden Beach and eating delicious sea food with the greatest girls I know! I am already counting down the days until we go back!
